fiscal advantages

The government has introduced fiscal advantages for donating or bequeathing money: for example, if you donate money to the museum, you will not need to pay any donation taxes to the Treasury. The same applies to donations to the friends association. Should you be considering personal financial support for the Zuiderzee Museum, then it goes without saying that we would be more than happy to think along with you or to support you with practical assistance.

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Wellbeing published the leaflet in 2004. This leaflet also looks at the various different possibilities and advantages where personally providing financial support to cultural institutions, like museums, is concerned.
