magazine land of water
The Zuiderzee Museum publishes the Land of Water magazine a few times a year. It is a Dutch paper platform for debate, discussions and thoughts regarding water management and designing the landscape.
De kerk van het museumpark is afkomstig uit Den Oever. In 1968 werd de kleine kapel steen voor steen naar het museumpark verplaatst. De panden rond de kerk dienden voorheen ook als school, smidse, mandenvlechterij, postkantoor en snoepwinkeltje.

De Markerhaven is een verkleinde replica van de haven van Marken. Er liggen tijdens het zomerseizoen schepen aangemeerd en langs de kade staan huisjes uit vissersdorpen langs de Zuiderzee. Verder is er een werkplaats voor het boeten en breien van vissersnetten (2 april t/m 31 oktober 2010) en er staat een replica van een hellingschuur.

The changing climate and its consequences are of major importance to the Netherlands’ future. As the Zuiderzee Museum is constantly involved with the past and future of Land of Water, it is the driving force behind this approximately 96 page thick magazine. Anyone can contribute to the discussions: pamphleteers, debaters and criticasters. The Land of Water magazine enters the new fight against water!
